PARIS / Scene Of The Crime

For my big birthday, I made a commitment to do something big. The release of the LAX album was one big thing, but Universe said “More.”

A couple of friends recommended that I read the book “you are a bad ass”by Jen Sincero.

While reading it, I realized I had not been living up to my full badassery. I thought about the place that I wanted to go for my big birthday. 

Paris!

I said to myself that if I found a great airfare, then I will book the trip. Lo and behold there was a round-trip ticket for less than $500. I had to do it. Trip booked. Now the freak out. I’ve never been to Paris before! I don’t speak French! I know no one over there. What am I getting myself into? Fear rose it’s ugly head, but I didn’t get this far by being fearful. I wasn’t going to let that fear stop me from having the adventure of a lifetime. I decided to turn up the heat. What would it be like to do a couple photo shoots and even shoot a music video while in Paris. Everything fell into place. 

I was able to get my own apartment in the 11th arrondissement, I was able to connect with two photographers and an amazing videographer. I got to shoot in various locations such as Monmarte, Pigalle, Eiffel Tower, Bir Hakeem Bridge & Siene River. Who does that? I guess I do! 

I got to push my artistry and the last photo shoot of the trip showed me that I could potentially add model to my slashes.

We’ll see what the universe has to offer. At the very least, I’ll always have Paris!
