NYC-based artist, Benjamin Hey! aka "The Captain" has been writing a song daily since 4/15/2017.

As a songwriter/producer, he has achieved Billboard success with Laverne Cox's club song debut, "Beat For The Gods" 

With a fashion-forward image that is Hollywood mixed with a street edge, he created his full length debut “LAX," which helped take his creativity to international ground and gained him the nickname…

2022 had The Captain releasing his first rap single, “Ra-ta-tat-tat” and a hip-hop/R&B love song titled “No Samples” produced by Young Cutta (NBA Youngboy, Meek Mill) and released under the JBM (John Beyer Music) imprint. Those songs became the biggest streamed songs in his music catalog.

In 2024, "The Captain Benjamin Hey!" will be tributing artists of the past with his upcoming single release titled “80’s Baby!”

It will be part of a larger creative project that includes multiple connected characters, creative storytelling, and AI.
